First Photography Contest organized by MEDUCA

 

SBS wins first place in Herrera in the First Photography contest organized by the Ministry of Education, through the Coordination of Culture of the National Directorate of Student Affairs, called "¡QUÉ ADMIRO DESDE MI HOGAR!" (WHAT I ADMIRE FROM MY HOME). 

First category from Junior High School, student Pedro Collins of 7th grade, also, in Second category from High School, student Guadalupe Guerrero of 11th grade.

The contest seeks to promote positive concepts and activities for the family and social nucleus that help nurture the sensitivity of our students, as well as strengthen emotional bonds at the family and social level. We congratulate Pedro and Guadalupe and wish them the best of luck in the national contest.

VICENTE VÁSQUEZ NOMBRADO GANADOR DEL PREMIO HURIE 2022

?Creo firmemente que la degradación ambiental es la mayor amenaza para mi generación y las que vendrán» acierta nuestro ex-alumno Vicente Vasquéz, promoción 2017.

Al culminar sus estudios escolares, obtuvo la beca Walton para estudiar en La Universidad de Ozarks, en Arkansas, U.S.A. Actualmente es graduando de estudios ambientales con especializaciones en agricultura sostenible, artes y sociología; Aspirando a un doctorado en ecología. Recibió el mayor de los reconocimientos y honores en su universidad, el premio Hurie, debido a su activa participación en la comunidad, empeño en sus estudios y sus investigaciones científicas llevadas a cabo.

Congratulations to Maikol Gutiérrez, SBS graduate from Class of 2017, who is the first place winner of the Photo Challenge 2021. Telemetro contest, resulting as the most successful digital reality show in Panama.

National School Theater Festival Aurea "Beby" Torrijos 2020.

 

Participation of the 7th-grade student Andrea Belén Flores Corro in the National School Theater Festival Áurea "Baby" Torrijos 2020, organized by the Theater Coordination of Art and Culture Center of the Ministry of Culture, which took place virtually in August. The Festival highlighted the three best participants at the national level and the monologue of our dear student, Andrea, was considered among the three best in the youth category, leaving up, once again, her alma mater Soyuz Bilingual School. She performed the Monologue of Laurencia, the original play FUENTEOVEJUNA by the Spanish writer Lope de Vega, with the collaboration of Teacher Guillermina Madrigales.
